Service Exchange Van Driver

About the role

As a Service Exchange Van Driver you will support Alexander Dennis' service exchange operation by travelling across the UK to collect and return parts. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring professional representation and accurate record‑keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites nationwide to collect service exchange parts.
• Return collected parts to the company network, confirming they meet required standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of collections and deliveries.
• Provide a professional, customer‑focused interface for all interactions.
• Ensure timely and efficient collections and deliveries in line with company processes.

Required profile

• Reliable, customer‑focused individual with logistics, warehouse or distribution experience.
• Comfortable working independently and travelling extensively.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively face‑to‑face with customers.

Required skills

• Forklift truck (counterbalance) licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Knowledge of chassis or vehicle parts.
