Skilled Labourer – Construction Projects in East Sussex

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Skilled Labourer to join our team in Uckfield and work on a variety of high‑end residential conversions, refurbishments and new‑build passive homes across East Sussex. You will be part of a professional crew delivering bespoke, energy‑efficient projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks.
• Prepare and maintain tidy work areas to ensure efficient project flow.
• Load, unload and move building materials and equipment safely.
• Carry out general labour duties on site, including supporting first and second‑fix carpentry.
• Keep the site clean, safe and organised at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Skilled Labourer on construction sites.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and ability to work independently.
• Own transport for travelling between sites across East Sussex.
