Small Works Site Manager

About the role

An established main contractor in Aberdeen is looking for an experienced Small Works Site Manager to lead a variety of refurbishment, maintenance and small‑scale construction projects across the North East of Scotland.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations for multiple small works projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to meet programme deadlines.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and monitor site safety standards.
• Track project progress, budgets and quality against client expectations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare and submit site documentation and regular progress reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction or refurbishment projects.
• Strong understanding of delivering small‑scale works.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• SMSTS certification
• CSCS card
• First Aid certification
