About the role
A friendly, inclusive primary school in Didcot is seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored interventions that help pupils with additional needs thrive academically and personally.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with special educational needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated learning activities.
- Adapt resources to meet individual learning requirements.
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.
- Support pupils' emotional, social and academic development.
Required profile
- Patient, caring and proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
- Ability to adapt support to individual needs.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
