Specialist Homelessness Prevention Coordinator

About the role

Hestia is seeking a Specialist Homelessness Prevention Coordinator to manage a caseload of individuals at risk of homelessness in London. You will deliver proactive, outcome‑focused interventions that prevent homelessness and secure sustainable housing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a caseload, conducting detailed housing assessments and co‑producing Personal Housing Plans.
• Negotiate with landlords, housing providers, local authorities and partner agencies to secure accommodation and prevent tenancy breakdown.
• Monitor performance against service targets, contractual KPIs and statutory deadlines.
• Maintain accurate case records, track outcomes and report on key metrics.
• Build and sustain partnerships across the housing sector, welfare services and community organisations.

Required profile

• Demonstrated knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
• Experience or qualifications related to private rented sector housing, eviction processes and welfare benefits.
• Strong case‑management and organisational abilities, with a solution‑focused mindset.
