Structured Products Middle Office Analyst – Global Markets

About the role

Join a leading global investment bank’s Global Markets Operations team as a Structured Products Middle Office Analyst. Based in London, you will support the Product Control function, ensuring accurate booking and lifecycle management of complex structured credit, rates, and fixed‑income products.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily production tasks across the Structured Products Middle Office.
• Maintain a robust operational control environment and ensure deals are booked in line with legal documentation.
• Identify, investigate and resolve breaks from reconciliation controls within agreed SLAs.
• Analyse root causes of recurring breaks and drive remediation initiatives.
• Report and refine KPIs/KRIs for senior management.
• Act as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, including Front Office desks.
• Coordinate with Operations teams to ensure seamless information flow.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in reconciliations within a middle‑office or control environment.
• Solid understanding of Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) structures.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of structured products and related asset classes (fixed income, equities, credit, rates, FX).
• Material experience in a control function at an investment bank.
• Good grasp of front‑to‑back trade workflows for structured and exotic products.
• Understanding of operational risk and permanent control frameworks.
