Surfacing Squad – Foreperson & Operatives – Highlands & Grampian

About the role

Breedon Surfacing Solutions is expanding its team to deliver high‑quality asphalt surfacing across the Highlands and Grampian region. We are forming a dedicated squad based at Netherglen Quarry, Elgin, to support public highways, infrastructure, and development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out surfacing work under the direction of the Foreperson.
• Maintain and operate plant and equipment safely and according to design specifications.
• Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is kept in good, serviceable condition.
• Support less experienced operatives and uphold professional working practices.
• Comply with company rules, procedures, safety commitments, and quality specifications.
• Report accidents, incidents, near‑misses, and any concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Previous surfacing experience is desirable but full training will be provided.
• CSCS card is desirable.
• Valid driving licence is essential for all roles.
