About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils in primary and secondary schools across Warrington. You will work alongside teachers to enhance classroom learning and provide tailored assistance to students, including those with Special Educational Needs.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers with classroom setup, resource preparation and behaviour management.
- Lead small‑group interventions in reading, writing and maths to reinforce learning.
- Provide one‑on‑one support for pupils, adapting tasks to individual capabilities.
- Offer emotional support, monitor student safety during breaks and report progress or safeguarding concerns.
Required profile
- Experience in education, childcare, care work or SEN support.
- Strong empathy and patience when working with young people.
- Willingness to hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or apply for one).
