Technical Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Coordinator to join our Bridgwater dairy site, supporting the maintenance and enhancement of our Quality Management Systems. The role ensures food safety, regulatory compliance and drives continuous improvement across operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide governance and ownership of site food safety and quality systems.
• Support compliance, audits and quality performance reporting.
• Lead internal and external audit activities, including BRC audits.
• Produce and maintain Quality Index reports.
• Drive continuous improvement projects using A3 problem‑solving methodology.
• Build quality capability within operational teams and support problem‑solving investigations.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance business performance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a technical role within food manufacturing.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of retailer codes of practice.
• Experience supporting or leading BRC audits.
• HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3 qualifications.
• Advanced Food Hygiene knowledge and understanding of microbiology principles.
• Dairy industry experience is highly desirable.
