Technical Project Manager (Hybrid) – Sheffield

About the role

Coforge is seeking a self‑motivated Technical Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of technical releases and migration programmes. Based in Sheffield, you will work in a hybrid model, spending two days a week on‑site while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure, resilient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and drive delivery of complex technology initiatives on time, within scope and budget.
• Coordinate migration activities from legacy (“as‑is”) to new (“to‑be”) solutions, covering planning, cut‑over and stabilisation.
• Manage risk, issues and dependencies across multiple technology platforms (cloud, on‑prem, SaaS, data platforms, integration/middleware).
• Ensure operational readiness through monitoring, support models, runbooks, SLAs and handover to BAU.
• Apply both Waterfall and Agile methodologies as required.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering complex technical projects and migrations.
• Experience working in regulated or large‑enterprise environments with strong governance.
• Strong leadership, confident decision‑making and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent stakeholder management across global teams.
