About the role
The Technical Services Manager will lead the technical facilities management function for MAPP’s London & South portfolio, overseeing the technical supply chain and providing engineering support to both the portfolio and FM teams. You will work across multiple work streams, from project delivery to sustainability and health & safety compliance, ensuring that building services operate efficiently and responsibly.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee technical FM across the London & South portfolio, managing the technical supply chain and engineering support.
- Coordinate site inspections, audits, fit‑out and redevelopment projects, including out‑of‑hours emergency support.
- Review contractor PPM documentation, logbooks, and plant room conditions to ensure compliance with H&S, ISO and British standards.
- Monitor energy performance, water management systems and sustainability data, advising on ESG and net‑zero initiatives.
- Chair periodic contractor meetings, produce minutes and drive issue resolution.
- Support small building works such as fabric repairs, plant replacement and insurance‑related projects, delivering on time, cost and quality.
Required profile
- Proven experience in technical facilities management or MEP engineering within a property environment.
- Ability to work across business solutions, transition management, contract and project management streams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to liaise with FM, building consultancy and sustainability teams.
- Commitment to MAPP values and ability to lead a team aligned with those principles.
Required skills
- MEP systems knowledge and management.
- Experience with Risk Wise or similar electronic MEP data management tools.
- Familiarity with contractor PPM documentation and audit processes.
- Understanding of ACOPs, ISO standards and British building regulations.
- Energy performance analysis and sustainability reporting.
- Smart building solutions and IoT monitoring technologies.
