Test Team Manager – Manual & Automation Testing Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Test Team Manager to lead a high‑performing testing team. You will ensure manual testing quality across software, APIs, databases, systems and web applications while driving the adoption of automation and AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of manual testing across multiple disciplines.
• Lead, coach and manage an established test team, handling recruitment, performance reviews and training needs.
• Drive automation initiatives and explore AI‑based testing solutions.
• Establish and continuously improve testing best practices, tools and workflows.
• Attend and lead daily stand‑ups, meetings and act as the escalation point for testing issues.
• Produce and manage testing deliverables such as test strategies, test cases and reports.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of people‑management experience within a test team.
• Degree‑level education.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Exposure to Generative AI or AI technologies is a strong plus.
• Experience introducing automation into a testing environment.
• Familiarity with Jira (highly desirable) and Xray (desirable).
• Proven ability to work across multiple testing disciplines.
• ISTQB expert‑level certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ITIL and SDLC processes.
