Trade & Transaction Reporting Analyst – London (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Trade & Transaction Reporting Analyst to join our London team on a hybrid basis. The role is central to delivering accurate regulatory reporting under EMIR, MiFIR and SFTR, and will involve close collaboration with Operations, Compliance, Technology and Front‑Office partners.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily reconciliation controls to guarantee completeness and accuracy of trade reporting.
• Investigate, prioritise and resolve reporting exceptions, performing root‑cause analysis where needed.
• Monitor pairing, matching and UTI alignment controls across counterparties.
• Support the preparation and submission of daily regulatory reports and validation activities.
• Track regulatory developments and translate new requirements into process and control enhancements.
• Produce management information, exception reports and governance updates for senior stakeholders.
• Work with internal teams and third‑party vendors to resolve issues and improve reporting controls.

Required profile

• Experience in regulatory reporting, financial‑markets operations or trade‑reporting environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a track record of managing large volumes of exceptions.
• Good understanding of the trade lifecycle, data lineage, UTI/UPI frameworks and SFTR regulations.
• Ability to define business requirements, conduct gap analysis and collaborate with technology teams on system enhancements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management and organisational skills.
