About the role
An ambitious Trainee BIM/CAD Technician is needed to join a growing building‑services engineering firm. This is a fantastic entry‑level opportunity to develop CAD and BIM skills while supporting senior engineers on live projects.
Key responsibilities
- Work under a senior coordinator engineer.
- Produce 2D surface models and prepare installation drawing sheets.
- Modify schematics and electrical layout drawings.
- Progress to creating 3D solid‑model drawings.
Required profile
- IT literate with experience using AutoCAD.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and construction methods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.

What we offer
- Competitive salary around £26,000 per year (depending on experience).
- 37.5‑hour week, Monday‑Friday.
- 20 days holiday, increasing to 25 days.
- Company pension contribution of 4%.
