Trainee Validation Technician (Clean Air Technology)

About the role

Catch 22 is seeking a Trainee Validation Technician to join a specialist clean‑air technology business that supports hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturers and research facilities. This field‑based role combines hands‑on site work with technical reporting, providing you with a solid foundation in validation, testing and certification of critical environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform testing and certification activities in cleanrooms, laboratories and healthcare environments.
• Take accurate measurements using specialist equipment and record data meticulously.
• Prepare compliance reports that demonstrate adherence to regulatory standards.
• Travel across the UK, staying overnight as required to service client sites.
• Collaborate with senior technicians to ensure data quality and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to pass enhanced security and background checks.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a technical environment.

Required skills

• HVAC knowledge.
