Travel Consultant – Luxury Japan & SE Asia Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join a luxury travel organisation that designs tailor‑made holidays for high‑net‑worth clients, primarily from the United States. The role focuses on Japan and South‑East Asia destinations and is fully remote, offering a competitive salary and attractive benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Handle initial client enquiries via phone or email, gathering requirements, budget and preferences.
• Design and build bespoke luxury itineraries for Japan and South‑East Asian markets.
• Book all components of the trip, including hotels, tours, restaurants and transportation.
• Adjust itineraries as needed to ensure client satisfaction and manage payment processing.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling high‑end, tailor‑made holidays to Japan and South‑East Asia.
• Current employment with a luxury tour operator.
• Experience working with US‑based clients is highly desirable.
• Target‑driven mindset and ability to meet sales objectives.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of luxury travel products in Japan and South‑East Asia.
• Strong itinerary planning and booking expertise.
• Excellent client communication and negotiation abilities.

What we offer

• Base salary around £45,000 with on‑target earnings up to £75,000.

• Home‑based work with a flexible schedule: three days 9 am‑6 pm, two days 11 am‑8 pm.
