UK Head of HR (Senior HR Manager) – Hybrid/Remote

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing private‑equity backed professional services group, is seeking a senior HR leader to own the UK people agenda. Reporting to the Group CHRO and working closely with the UK COO, you will shape the HR function during a period of rapid growth, acquisitions and integration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the UK HR function for roughly 95 employees.
• Partner with senior leadership on organisational design, workforce planning and succession.
• Support acquisitions, business integration and organisational change.
• Provide trusted advice on complex employee relations and UK employment law.
• Own HR governance, policies, compliance and UK payroll, reward and benefits.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, performance management and leadership development.
• Develop HR systems, reporting and people analytics.
• Collaborate with international colleagues to ensure consistency across the group.

Required profile

• Significant HR leadership experience in a professional services environment (accountancy, legal, consulting or similar).
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Proven track record supporting business growth, acquisitions or organisational change.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a private‑equity‑backed or acquisitive setting is a plus.
