User Researcher – UX Research (Hybrid, 6‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a User Researcher to join our Research & Innovation team in Newcastle. This 6‑month contract (inside IR35) offers a hybrid working model, with three days on‑site each week, and focuses on delivering high‑impact UX research for key projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, structure and execute primary and secondary research studies.
• Develop comprehensive research plans aligned with project goals and stakeholder needs.
• Analyse complex data sets to extract actionable insights.
• Provide market trends, research outcomes and communication strategies to support project decisions.
• Collaborate with and manage cross‑functional teams, taking responsibility for research decisions.
• Share expertise, mentor colleagues and foster a collaborative research environment.
• Refine research methodologies to improve quality and efficiency.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and influence project direction.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in User Experience (UX) research.
• Strong ability to develop research plans that meet stakeholder expectations.
• Experience analysing large, complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Proactive problem‑solving across multiple teams.
