VP Global Banking – Technology, Media & Telecommunications

About the role

This commercial, client‑facing position focuses on business development, relationship management, revenue growth and cross‑border coordination for multinational corporate clients in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sectors. You will develop client relationships and deliver global and local business plans while managing a portfolio of clients. The role requires proactivity, a solid product suite understanding and a willingness to travel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with leading UK, Ireland and Nordic multinational clients, delivering tailored banking and financing solutions.
• Identify and execute new business opportunities across Transactional Banking, Cash Management, Trade Finance and Foreign Exchange to drive revenue growth.
• Conduct client meetings, including international travel.
• Manage sales pipeline and achieve agreed portfolio growth targets.
• Support credit reviews and present to internal committees.
• Produce client presentations and pitchbooks.
• Provide management information and reporting.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role focusing on Technology, Media & Telecommunications sector clients.
• Broad experience in Corporate Finance, GTB, FS&A, RSG and DCM.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and modelling skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with ability to present concepts concisely.
• High attention to detail and diligence ensuring quality of client deliverables.
• Strong technology proficiency, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and quick learning of new software.
