Waiter - The Hoxton Edinburgh

About the role

The Hoxton Edinburgh, the group's first hotel in Scotland, is looking for a plate-balancing, service-loving waiter. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, you will help run the day-to-day food and beverage operations and deliver friendly service. The restaurant, Patatino, serves fresh pasta, wood-fired pizzas and Italian wines.

Key responsibilities

• Be the face of the guest experience, from arrival to departure, ensuring every guest has a great time.
• Work with the F&B team to keep things running smoothly.
• Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy themselves.
• Provide a welcoming and memorable experience, from a Hox welcome to answering questions and handling requests.
• Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems so that guest expectations are exceeded.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality, whether a drink, a meal, an event or a stay.
• A positive attitude towards the people you meet and a desire to leave a memorable impression.
• Team player who is not precious, willing to try almost anything once and enjoys sharing a laugh.
• Previous experience is not required; contribution to the team matters more.
