Warehouse & Logistics Team Manager - Fresh Produce

About the role

Morrisons is recruiting a Warehouse & Logistics Team Manager for its distribution site in Sittingbourne, which runs a 24/7 operation serving more than 1,000 colleagues. The role engages and communicates with the team so that goods in, picking and loading run efficiently, delivering the best possible service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a fast-paced FMCG logistics or warehouse team, focusing on people and customer service
• Develop talent in the team through coaching and guidance
• Set targets, review progress and create plans to improve performance
• Solve operational problems and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor and deliver KPIs and take action to ensure they are met

Required profile

• 2+ years in a warehouse or logistics FMCG environment
• Team management experience is desirable but not essential
• Able to work at pace, think outside the box and act as a true people person
