Year 3 Class Teacher – Primary School

About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Year 3 teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Hackney. The successful candidate will start in September and will be responsible for delivering the KS2 curriculum to a full‑time Year 3 class.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that meet the KS2 standards.
- Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and behaviour.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Proven experience teaching KS2, preferably Year 3.
- Passionate, organised and committed to high‑quality teaching.
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
