About the role

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Year 3 teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Hackney. The successful candidate will start in September and will be responsible for delivering the KS2 curriculum to a full‑time Year 3 class.

Key responsibilities

Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that meet the KS2 standards.
Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development.
Maintain accurate records of student achievement and behaviour.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and contribute to a positive school culture.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress.

Required profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
Proven experience teaching KS2, preferably Year 3.
Passionate, organised and committed to high‑quality teaching.
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
