About the role

WSP is offering a Year in Industry Placement for university students eager to apply their academic knowledge to real‑world engineering, environmental and advisory projects. You will work alongside specialist teams across a range of sectors, gaining hands‑on experience while contributing to high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support project teams on bridge, community, planning, geospatial and water asset projects.
• Assist in data collection, analysis and preparation of technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver client‑focused solutions.
• Participate in site visits, meetings and stakeholder engagements as required.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a relevant degree (e.g., Civil Engineering, Geography, Computer Science, GIS, Remote Sensing).
• Flexible, proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
