12-Month Financial Security Internship

About the role

Join the Financial Security Advisory & Governance Team for a 12‑month internship where you will support compliance with financial crime and sanctions policies. This role offers hands‑on experience in data analysis, reporting and stakeholder liaison within a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on various Financial Security projects as required.
• Support team members in preparing for regular committee meetings.
• Collate statistics and data for reports and maintain training statistics.
• Monitor attendance, manage follow‑ups and participate in training sessions.
• Help draft Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) summaries.
• Liaise with Business Lines on Financial Security‑related queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) graduated within the past 18 months with at least a 2:1.
• Ability to learn and administer compliance monitoring and control plans.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality written reports and track actions to resolution.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and diplomatic skills.
• Excellent time‑management and attention to detail, with the capacity to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Strong IT literacy, including MS Office suite.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with databases and analytical tools.
