3.5T Cage Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable driver to operate our 3.5‑tonne cage trucks on waste‑collection routes across London. The role involves safely picking up waste from multiple sites and delivering it to designated facilities while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure timely and compliant waste removal.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and transport waste from various locations throughout London.
• Operate 3.5‑tonne cage vehicles in compliance with road and safety regulations.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to meet collection schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of collections and vehicle checks.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and service‑ready.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures for waste handling.

Required profile

• Proven experience driving 3.5‑tonne vehicles.
• Previous waste‑management or similar collection experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of London’s road network.
• Commitment to safety and excellent customer service.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
