Account Executive

About the role

A leading independent market research agency, which works with top industry names to deliver insights that drive business decisions, is looking for an Account Executive in Newbury. The role sits within the sales function and suits someone who enjoys working collaboratively across a company and supporting sales. The position is permanent, paid up to £35k plus an 8% bonus, with two days working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Generate qualified prospects through targeted research, outbound campaigns, networking and lead nurturing across priority sectors.
• Support sales teams by qualifying leads, managing CRM data, coordinating meetings, proposals and follow-ups, and managing pipeline activity.
• Assist marketing campaigns, content, events, reporting and account research to generate high-quality commercial opportunities and engagement.

Required profile

• Sales, marketing or business development experience.
• Proactive, commercially minded, confident engaging prospects and managing priorities, and supportive of demand generation and sales activities.
• Analytical, collaborative, resilient and detail-focused, eager to take on more commercial responsibility in a growing organisation.
