Retail Supervisor - Toolstation Newbury

About the role

Toolstation, part of Travis Perkins plc, is hiring a Retail Supervisor in Newbury, Berkshire. The post is permanent and full time, 40 hours per week, with stores open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so early starts and late finishes are required. The supervisor is the face of the branch, supporting the Store Manager and helping customers leave with everything they need.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager, including standing in for them in their absence
• Motivate and engage the team, and coach them to grow sales and achieve targets
• Check and unpack deliveries, stock shelves, clean the branch and put together orders
• Deliver a great customer experience and coach the team to do the same
• Maintain product availability and high branch standards

Required profile

• No retail experience needed; the company will teach you the rest
• Hard work, a love of teamwork and a willingness to get your hands dirty
• A positive attitude and reliability, with flexibility
