Account Handler / Account Executive

About the role

Join a national brokerage as an Account Handler supporting commercial insurance clients. Based in Worthing, you will work closely with Account Executives to deliver a professional, client‑focused service throughout the policy lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Account Executives with day‑to‑day management of commercial insurance portfolios.
• Process renewals, mid‑term adjustments and new business submissions.
• Prepare documentation, presentations and insurer submissions.
• Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms and secure competitive cover.
• Respond promptly to client queries and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in a Commercial Account Handler or similar broking role.
• Good working knowledge of commercial insurance products.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Confident written and verbal communicator.
• Certificate in CII or working towards CII qualification (desirable).
