Accountant – Music Festivals & Live Events

About the role
We are seeking an ACA/ACCA/CIMA‑qualified accountant to manage the financial operations of a fast‑growing music company that delivers festivals, concerts and live events across the UK. You will work closely with promoters and internal teams to ensure accurate accounting and compliance for each event.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, budgets and variance analysis for individual events.
- Oversee day‑to‑day accounting, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Manage show accounting, expense claims, cash floats and settlement processes.
- Compile quarterly VAT returns and produce monthly/quarterly management accounts.
- Prepare statutory accounts in line with UK regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UK.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or nearing qualification).
- Demonstrated experience in the music or live‑event sector.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
