Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will sit at the operational heart of Culinary Collective’s finance function, reporting to the Finance Director. This hands‑on position is responsible for end‑to‑end transactional finance processes across accounts payable and receivable, and for delivering accurate weekly and monthly financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Lightyear approval workflow, manage supplier master data and onboarding.
• Administer the Moss corporate card platform, including top‑ups, reimbursements and reporting.
• Oversee aged creditors and payment runs (BACS/CHAPS) in partnership with the outsourced provider Williams Stanley.
• Ensure supplier statements are reconciled and ledgers remain clean.
• Manage sales invoice creation, Stripe and third‑party reconciliations, daily cash vs Toast and events sales reconciliations against Tripleseat.
• Monitor aged debtors, conduct debt chasing and escalate material balances.
• Prepare weekly Moss spending and Lightyear reports, weekly COGS and payroll reconciliations, and GP margin/menu analysis.
• Produce the monthly P&L, support the rolling cash‑flow forecast and assist with the weekly cash‑flow forecast.

Required profile

• Process‑driven and highly organised with a strong eye for accuracy.
• Comfortable holding internal teams and external providers accountable for timeliness.
• Experience working closely with senior finance leadership in a fast‑moving hospitality environment.
