Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Out of Hours, Primary Care, Alder Hey)

About the role

Primary Care 24 (PC24), a not-for-profit social enterprise delivering NHS contracts since 2004, is recruiting Advanced Clinical Practitioners, ANPs and APNPs for Out of Hours, Primary Care and Alder Hey Hospital. Positions are based across Merseyside, Sefton and Halton, including Wavertree head office, and cover full-time, part-time and bank shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Out of hours: assess, diagnose and treat patients with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions, prescribe and review medication, and advise on side effects and interactions
• Primary care: undertake adult and paediatric health assessments, manage a caseload with autonomy, and contribute to patient safety and multidisciplinary working
• Alder Hey: provide individualised care to children and young people, assessing, diagnosing and prescribing where appropriate
• Asylum Service: assess, diagnose and manage acute, minor, complex or vulnerability-related needs, and refer patients for safeguarding or social care needs

Required profile

• Full NMC registration with no restrictions
• MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice desirable; candidates working towards it or with relevant experience encouraged to apply
• Non-medical prescriber (V300)
• Clinical examination and diagnostics at Level 7
• Experience of working autonomously, in urgent care and/or primary care
