Architectural Technician – CAD & Revit Specialist

About the role

Ridge and Partners is seeking an Architectural Technician to join its multi‑disciplinary team. You will support the design and delivery of diverse building projects, working closely with architects, building surveyors and project managers across several UK offices.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and manage technical drawing packages using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Assist in preparing specifications and ensuring compliance with UK best‑practice standards.
• Coordinate project information with internal and external stakeholders, including site visits and occasional overseas travel.
• Participate in design team meetings (DTMs) via MS Teams and set delivery timescales.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and identify opportunities to support client needs.

Required profile

• Proficient in AutoCAD and experienced with Revit.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly in writing and verbally.
• Methodical problem‑solving approach and ability to work within fixed budgets and deadlines.
• Understanding of building and construction technology and UK standards.
• Existing security clearance or eligibility for UK National status (desirable).
