Asbestos Surveyor – Southampton (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a UKAS‑accredited consultancy supporting a growing workload across Southampton and the South Coast. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality asbestos surveys for domestic, commercial and public sector sites, offering a stable and well‑structured pipeline of work.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys.
• Conduct bulk sampling on a variety of property types.
• Produce accurate, compliant survey reports in line with HSG264 guidance.
• Manage workload efficiently across multiple sites.
• Ensure all activities comply with HSE guidance and company procedures.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal teams.

Required profile

• BOHS P402 certification (essential).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and HSG264 guidance.
• Professional, organised and reliable with good communication skills.
