Assistant General Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our Nando’s restaurant on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow. You will support the General Manager in delivering a vibrant, customer‑focused dining experience while driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service and hygiene.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house staff.
• Manage inventory, stock ordering and cost control in line with company targets.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues to maintain Nando’s brand reputation.
• Monitor sales performance, labour scheduling and health & safety compliance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality or restaurant settings.
• Strong passion for food, people and the Nando’s brand.
• Customer‑obsessed mindset with a drive to deliver consistent PERi‑PERi quality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
