About the role
Join Costa Coffee as an Assistant Manager and help create memorable coffee experiences for every customer. Working side‑by‑side with the Store Manager, you’ll ensure the shop runs smoothly and delivers the high standards the brand is known for.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain store efficiency by overseeing stock levels, merchandising, and health‑and‑safety standards.
- Foster a positive team culture and coach staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist with cash handling, cash‑up, and financial reporting.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic and energetic individual with a passion for coffee and hospitality.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in a retail or hospitality environment is desirable.
Required skills
- Basic numeracy for cash handling.
- Familiarity with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
