AVP Financial Control – Global Corporate & Investment Bank (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking a fully‑qualified accounting professional (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA) to join the Finance team of a leading global banking group in London. The role focuses on managing data integrity and control of gross profit reporting within the bank’s management information system, supporting both financial and management accounting functions across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and control data integrity for gross‑profit transactional reporting in the MIS.
• Provide technical support on management and financial accounting matters.
• Prepare and analyse Treasury P&L reports, including month‑end reporting and reconciliation of breaks.
• Produce financial and management accounting reports and analysis for EMEA and head‑office audiences.
• Prepare monthly performance data, perform consistency checks and reconciliations for all EMEA booking locations.
• Analyse P&L to ensure completeness versus GL and correct allocation across Front Office, Treasury and senior management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Financial Control, Treasury and senior management to resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Fully‑qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or CA) with post‑qualification experience in accounting, control and reporting within a global banking or financial services environment.
• Proven experience of reconciliations and exposure to Treasury accounting, revenue or income reporting.
• Ability to interpret and apply new and existing accounting standards.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
