Band 5 Registered Nurse – Agency Shifts in Guildford

About the role

Cromwell Medical Staffing Limited is seeking a Band 5 Registered Nurse (RGN) to cover agency shifts at Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. This role offers flexible days, nights, weekends and bank holiday shifts within an acute hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients in an acute setting.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care according to NMC standards.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor patient conditions, escalating concerns when required.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to infection‑prevention and patient‑safety protocols.

Required profile

• Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Minimum six months NHS experience within the last two years.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to disclose any DBS convictions.
