About the role

As a member of the Bar & Waiting Staff team at Milnes Bar, you will help create unforgettable moments for customers, whether you are pouring a pint or recommending the perfect drink after a long day. You will join a fun, inclusive team where you can develop your hospitality skills.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each visit.
• Offer drink recommendations and prepare drinks to specification.
• Assist in greeting guests, serving food and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
• Maintain a safe, legal and clean bar environment and address any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn and expand your skills.
• Great eye for detail to ensure every pint is poured perfectly.
• Passion for delivering excellent service and a warm welcome.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and strong team spirit.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.

Required skills

• Basic drink preparation knowledge.
• Ability to follow health, safety and hygiene standards.
