About the role

Pub & Grill, a Greene King pub and restaurant combining the warmth of a cosy pub with the quality standards of a restaurant, is hiring a Bar & Waiting Staff member in Oak Tree (Chester). The role is part-time, fixed term, with 8 hours scheduled per week, and pays up to £13.25 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Create a memorable experience for every customer, whether pouring a pint or recommending a drink.
• Prepare and present drinks that meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Recommend drinks to customers and act as the insider behind the bar.
• Assist in greeting, serving food and looking after customers while they dine.
• Keep the bar safe, legal and clean, dealing with issues quickly and safely.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn and expand your skills.
• A great eye for detail, so every pint is poured to perfection.
• A passion for great service and a warm welcome for every customer.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a strong team spirit.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
