Bid Manager – Commercial Refurbishment & Fit‑Out Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead the creation of high‑quality proposals for commercial refurbishment and fit‑out projects across the UK. Working within a dynamic pre‑construction team, you will coordinate all stages of the bid process, from initial enquiry to client presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end bid lifecycle, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
• Develop bid strategies and work‑winning initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, estimators, design managers, commercial teams and business development professionals.
• Lead bid meetings, coordinate cross‑functional teams and mentor junior staff.
• Prepare compelling written proposals, presentations and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction, commercial fit‑out, refurbishment, property, architecture or engineering sectors.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple complex submissions simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe InDesign and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
