Business Development Executive - IT Recruitment

About the role

Huzzle connects talent with leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia. Its client is a boutique recruitment consultancy specialising in technology and engineering talent, with divisions covering data science, AI, software engineering and data centre infrastructure. The Business Development Executive is a full-time, fully remote sales role on an IT resourcing team, focused on growing the business in AI, FinTech and insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and map the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to identify high-growth target accounts.
• Develop and run outbound outreach campaigns via LinkedIn and email.
• Conduct high-volume outbound calling and pitching to key decision-makers.
• Identify 20 target clients daily with personalised engagement.
• Book and attend discovery meetings to find live hiring requirements.
• Manage the sales pipeline to reach a monthly contribution target of £15,000.
• Bridge client needs with resourcing solutions and ensure active interview cycles for candidates.

Required profile

• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Proven experience pitching to C-Suite executives with documented success.
• Results-driven, focused on daily and monthly KPIs.
• Prior experience in sales outreach and meeting booking within recruitment or resourcing.
• Ability to work remotely with a timezone overlap of 11:00 to 16:00 London time.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with technology, AI & ML, FinTech or insurance.
• Tools such as Claude (AI), Microsoft Teams and LinkedIn Premium.
• Track record of exceeding financial targets.
