CAD Draughtsperson – Woodworking & Furniture

About the role

We are looking for a CAD Draughtsperson to create detailed 2‑D drawings for bespoke joinery, furniture and woodworking projects. You will work closely with senior staff, directors and workshop teams, turning client ideas into production‑ready documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Produce 2D CAD shop, manufacturing and assembly drawings for bespoke joinery projects.
• Prepare cutting lists, material schedules and other production documentation.
• Translate client sketches, architectural drawings and specifications into clear technical drawings.
• Liaise with workshop, production, project and installation teams to ensure design intent is met.
• Collaborate with directors and senior staff, with a clear pathway to management.

Required profile

• Experience as a CAD Technician, CAD Draughtsperson or Technical Designer.
• Background in joinery, woodworking, furniture, cabinetry, shop‑fitting or commercial interiors.
• Confidence using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Ability to produce accurate manufacturing and production drawings.
• Aspirations to progress into a senior technical or management role.

• AutoCAD (or equivalent 2D CAD software).
