Casual Food & Beverage Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Casual Food & Beverage Assistant to join our boutique hotel team. You will work across the bar, cellar, restaurant and events areas, delivering excellent service to guests throughout the day and night.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverage items in the restaurant, bar and cellar.
• Stock shelves, assist with breakfast service and support evening restaurant operations.
• Work on meetings, weddings and other events as required.
• Communicate menu and beverage offerings confidently to guests.
• Process cash, card and room‑charge payments accurately following company guidelines.
• Provide a warm, welcoming experience at every guest touch point.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a food and beverage service role.
• Attentive, professional customer‑service attitude.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a large team.
• Experience handling payment transactions.
• Confident, engaging personality with a polite demeanor.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the Micros point‑of‑sale system.
