Casual Server – Luxury Hotel Dining

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Casual Server to join the food and beverage team at Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere. Working on‑site in our luxury hotel, you will help create memorable dining experiences for guests, ensuring a five‑star level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to guests in the restaurant and bar areas, adhering to Fairmont standards.
• Guide guests through the menu, provide recommendations and answer questions with enthusiasm.
• Take reservations accurately, record special requests and manage seating efficiently.
• Upsell food, beverage and promotional offers to maximise revenue.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of service areas in line with health and safety policies.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of serving or hosting experience in a luxury hospitality setting.
• Passion for delivering five‑star restaurant service.
• Ability to remain calm, courteous and resourceful under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a talent for building rapport with guests.
• Willingness to be flexible and support various tasks as needed.
