Casualty RI Claims Technician

About the role

We are recruiting a Casualty RI Claims Technician for a leading Lloyds broker in London. The role is suited to a 2nd‑jobber with 1‑3 years’ claims experience who wants to progress within the insurance market. You will handle claims from initial notification through to settlement while working closely with brokers, underwriters and third parties.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of casualty RI claims from notification to final settlement.
• Coordinate with brokers, underwriters and external parties to gather information and negotiate settlements.
• Support senior colleagues on complex cases, providing technical assistance.
• Maintain accurate claim records and ensure compliance with market regulations.
• Contribute to a high‑volume team with a strong focus on detail and timeliness.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of claims experience, preferably within the Lloyds or London insurance market.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, detail‑driven approach with the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
