Charity Fundraiser – Face‑to‑Face Fundraising for Cats Protection

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Charity Fundraiser to join our team supporting Cats Protection, the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. You will work at pre‑booked venues such as supermarkets and shopping centres, engaging the public and encouraging monthly donations.

Key responsibilities

• Approach visitors at designated venues and start genuine conversations about animal welfare.
• Explain the mission of Cats Protection and secure monthly donor commitments.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and donations using the company’s systems.
• Meet or exceed individual fundraising targets and contribute to team goals.
• Participate in regular training and development sessions.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with excellent communication and rapport‑building skills.
• Confident, resilient and target‑driven.
• Passion for animal welfare and willingness to work outdoors.
• Reliable and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Previous fundraising or sales experience is a plus but not essential.

• Ability to engage face‑to‑face with the public.
