Chef De Partie - Rondo Restaurant

About the role

The Hoxton, Holborn is looking for a passionate Chef de Partie for its restaurant Rondo, which runs from breakfast through to dinner. Rondo is a relaxed neighbourhood restaurant serving seasonal modern bistro dishes and great wines, led by chef Tristan Downes. The restaurant is based in a Grade II-listed former telephone exchange in the heart of Holborn.

Key responsibilities

• Produce breakfast, lunch and dinner options for guests by running a section in the busy kitchen
• Nurture and develop the talent of the kitchen team, creating an environment where everyone can be themselves
• Keep the kitchen running smoothly, ensuring orders and deliveries come and go as needed and maintaining high food hygiene standards
• Work with the Head Chef on ideas and techniques that keep the kitchen creative and ever-changing

Required profile

• Previous experience working as part of a kitchen team in a similar-sized restaurant
• Passion for fresh ingredients and strong flavours
• A positive attitude towards colleagues and guests, with a desire to leave a memorable experience
• Team player who is not precious, open to trying almost everything once and enjoys sharing a laugh
