Class 2 Driver – Building Supplies

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Class 2 HGV driver, ideally with HIAB experience, to join a reputable builders merchant in Watford. You will be responsible for delivering building and construction supplies to a range of customers across a sensible local area.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 HGV equipped with a HIAB crane to load, transport and unload building materials.
• Perform multi‑drop deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate service to customers.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and represent the company positively on each visit.
• Adhere to health, safety and road‑traffic regulations at all times.
• Keep delivery paperwork and vehicle logs up to date.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence.
• HIAB licence preferred (training provided if required).
• Experience with multi‑drop deliveries in the local area.
• Familiarity with delivering building or construction materials is advantageous.
• Professional attitude and strong customer‑service focus.
