Class 2 Refuse Driver – Immediate Start

About the role

Responsive Personnel is seeking experienced Class 2 drivers to join a client in Calne on a temporary‑to‑permanent basis. The role involves operating waste and recycling collection vehicles on pre‑planned routes, with an immediate start and long‑term prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Drive waste and recycling vehicles safely and considerately following assigned routes.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, report defects, and ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
• Assist with loading the vehicle when required.
• Unload, refuel, and ready the vehicle for the next day’s use.
• Comply with all company health and safety policies.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Maintain a flexible approach to working hours and task allocation.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 driving licence.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Flexible attitude towards hours and duties.
• Commitment to safety and vehicle maintenance.
